Taylor Manor
Free Halloween yard display for people of all ages. Cardboard skeletons and gravestones gave way to increasingly more elaborate props, and soon, a bonafide attraction existed each October.
The Story:
Taylor Manor started out as a boyhood hobby for Matthew. As a boy, he enjoyed creating small scale spook alleys in his unfinished basement, and inviting the neighborhood kids over for a scare. In 1988, the spooky alley spilled out into the yard as a walk through haunt, and thus began the foundation of Taylor Manor.
Cardboard skeletons and gravestones gave way to increasingly more elaborate props, and soon, a bonafide attraction existed each October.
Nancy started her involvement in 2001. In 2006, the display officially adopted the name Taylor Manor. After 2010, the display started skipping odd years, and now only gets setup on even years.
